DYNAPAR S428.JPG (9308 bytes)Dynapar's S428 Intelligent Process Meters: The Dynapar brand S428 Process Meter can display a wide variety of process input signals, such as volts, current, thermocouple, or RTD, while providing a host of intelligent features. Housed in an industry standard 1/8 DIN case, the instrument is field configurable to accept standard DC current or voltage process signals as well as most thermocouple and RTDs.
Its 0.56" high LED display, available in red or green, is easily scaled through the front panel to display in engineering units. Standard with a relay alarm output, other functions can be installed at the factory or later in the field. Choose from additional alarm relays, an auxiliary power supply for use with the input transmitter/sensor, a remote alarm reset, a DC output for retransmission to a strip chart recorder or PLC. An optional RS-485 serial communication board supports Modbus or open ASCII protocol.
Alarm outputs can be field configured for high or low operation and combinational logic. Its unique accumulated alarm time function tells how long the alarm condition has been present.

Other key process monitoring features include max and min value capture, process value offset, and programmable input filtering. A universal AC power supply meets global requirements, and an EEPROM retains all data when power is not present.

JOHNSON CONTROLS SYSTEM 350

System350Mod.gif (96557 bytes)

The System 350 Control Series by Johnson Controls is a modular, electronic series encompassing a wide variety of ON/OFF and proportional temperature, humidity, and pressure applications, as well as temperature reset. The basic system consists of a control module, which accepts stage, display, and transformer modules. A variety of temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors are also available. Hundreds of different control systems can be configured using a combination of the controls and their accessories. Five-pin connectors eliminate wiring between modules, minimizing installation costs, and reducing wiring errors. The modules can be DIN rail or surface mounted. Up to nine stages (ten total relays) are possible for full functionality. UL and CSA approved, and Pacific Controls has a good stock of these controls for your application.
