Controlinks Provides
Fantastic Fuel Savings of up to 20 percent: Only PCL Provides Controlinks!
Pacific
Controls Ltd. has been appointed British Columbia’s sole authorized Honeywell
“Controlinks” distributor. Controlinks is a burner and boiler fuel air control
system that has been shown to provide tremendous fuel savings (5-20%) at a
reasonable price, resulting in very quick payback times. The Controlinks system,
using precise microprocessor-based controls to develop independent combustion
curves for each fuel, is extremely accurate and is a vast improvement over
mechanical jackshaft or cam & linkage assemblies. Other advantages include
reduced set-up and service times, troubleshooting and diagnostics, and increased
safety features.
The
Controlinks system is comprised of the R7999 Fuel Air Ratio Control, a wiring subbase,
ML7999 universal actuators, and commissioning software. The system is entirely
compatible with Honeywell’s RM7800 Series of burner controls.

Want to save even more energy?
Talk to us about Demand
Control Ventilation (DCV), ideal for building owners.
Honeywell manufactures Fresh
Air Economizers with integrated DCV systems that are compatible with most
individually packaged rooftop or built-up air handling units. They automatically
sense when the outside air is right for free cooling as a first stage of air
conditioning. In addition, they dramatically reduce over-ventilation in air
conditioning and heating modes to lower energy consumption and deliver fresh air
based on occupancy needs. With a Honeywell “Economizer DCV” system you’re
assured:
- maximum energy savings in heating and cooling modes
- electronic accuracy
- solid state differential enthalpy for maximum air conditioning savings and
dynamic demand controlled ventilation.
Components of a DCV system include:
- Carbon Dioxide Sensor (determines ventilation necessity)
- Economizer Logic Modules (proportions outdoor and return air dampers)
- Solid State Enthalpy Sensor (permits use of outdoor air as first stage of
cooling)
- Spring Return Direct Coupled Acuators (provide proportional control for
dampers)
- Temperature Sensor
- Programmable Commercial Thermostats and Subbases (controls HVAC equipment and
communicates information and system instructions to other devices)

Tired of draining your boiler to check your low water cut-off? McDonnell Miller introduces it’s
new TC-4 Test-N-Check valves, now in stock at Pacific Controls. The kit, for hot
water boilers, includes an upper and lower valve for isolating the cut-off, and
allows for easy testing or replacing of your cut-off.

Coin meters are perfect for a wide variety of applications, such as laundry rooms,
tennis courts, pool halls, and as shower timers for resort and campground
owners. These sturdy meters accept quarters or dollar coins and time out between
.25 and 32 minutes, fully adjustable. You can also select the number of coins
desired to start the timing. Our most popular application is as a shower timer,
in which a coin meter is wired to an solenoid valve, as pictured, which controls
the hot water shower line. The meter then times out the shower for the
appropriate time, usually 5 minutes. Pacific Controls offers a shower kit, which
includes the coin meter, a 1/2" solenoid valve, plus a transformer, for only
$475 Canadian. Wiring is easily done. For more information, please call
